The moment you make the decision to actively seek help is the first courageous step towards healing, choosing a new path, or a new perspective. The next step is finding someone with whom you feel comfortable and safe on your journey to an improved quality of life and research shows that the client-therapist relationship is one of the key factors in successfully implementing lasting changes.
With almost 25 years of experience in a variety of systems including child welfare, children’s mental health, hospital (perinatal), school social work, training, and clinical supervision roles, I am well qualified to work with a diverse range of issues. Using evidence based modalities that are tailored specifically for your goals, we will work collaboratively to ensure you are getting the most out of your sessions in a timely manner. I am a down to earth, compassionate, experienced and competent clinician. People describe me as approachable, collaborative, responsive, and a lifelong learner with multiple interests, both professionally and personally.
I believe all people are unique and complex and we do the best we can when we have the right supports around us. Having an outside perspective when we are feeling overwhelmed balancing all of life’s beautiful and challenging moments can help us get unstuck and move towards a more fulfilling quality of life for all. Please reach out to see if we might be a good fit on your journey to wellness.
Clinical Supervision for Professionals:
A highlight of my career has been helping to mentor, consult with, and provide clinical supervision to clinicians as they work on defining and developing clinical competencies towards specific goals. Whether you are just starting out, or you are an experienced clinician, I work from a competency based framework combined with an emphasis on self-care for the practitioner. I provide supervision for both individuals or small groups.
I offer a 15 minute consultation by phone or video so please email me to book a time. I am currently offering day time sessions on Mondays and Fridays.

MSW., RSW
Life can be very challenging, and we all move up and down the continuum of well-being at different points. No one should feel alone in managing and moving through these difficult times and being invited to walk alongside you on that journey is a privilege.
Each client is unique and brings into the therapeutic relationship their own valid perspective and experiences. Sometimes when we are overwhelmed, we forget the resources and strengths that are innate to us.
I provide a transparent but gentle approach. I offer a safe and empathic environment that cultivates a strong connection with my clients. I work collaboratively to draw on individual strengths and inner wisdom, while offering alternative possibilities and strategies that draw from evidence informed modalities, in addition to my learnings and experiences through the years. I am passionate about understanding how our earliest relationships and experiences continue to influence our frame of reference through the years, how to integrate those experiences, and to implement coping that supports resilience.
Clinical Supervision: My 9 years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor is enhanced by certification in Advanced Clinical Supervision with Adler Graduate Professional School. The opportunity to guide, mentor, and consult with fellow professionals from a competency-based approach is most rewarding. Whether you are new to the field, or a seasoned clinician, supervision provides opportunity to identify learning goals and a framework to develop clinical competencies.
